Hi all ,I am in the process of scratchbuilding and kit bashing a 2005/2006 ford super duty .I was at Goodwill one day and seen a toy truck of a super duty that played some sort of music and made noise for 50 cents...so i bought it . It is made by the company that makes "road rippers" the detail is nice on it ,but the tires and chassie had to go . It is in 1/25 scale so iam in the works of retrofitting a 93 ford xlt by ertl . The truck still has head /taillights that work so i will try to keep them. I first filled in the holes in the roof where the buttons were and cut the hood open. As luck would have it i found the wheels and tires on another toy truck at Goodwill and it came home too. As for the engine i will probably use a big block ford or maybe even fab up a power stroke for it . Here are some spy photos of where iam at on it.
Thanks for looking ,comments welcome and happy modeling.
