Lamborghini unveiled its new flagship called the Aventador at Geneva a couple of days ago. For those of you that dont know the Miura was Lamborghinis first flagship supercar. In 1973 the Countach replaced it. In 1990 the Diablo replaced the Countach and in 2002 the Murcielago replaced the Diablo. Now in 2011 the Aventador replaces the Mucielago. As expected words cannot describe how good it looks. Pictures do NOT do justice for this car. As always Lamborghini designed a totally new flagship model from scratch, they even designed an all new engine from scratch that deplaces 6.5 liters and developes 700hp! And yes like all of lamborghinis flagships it is a V12. I don't even know where to begin I could go on about this car for days, weeks even years It is a technological masterpeice. Model companies have produced every Lamborghini flagship so far, the Miura, Countach, Diablo and Murcielago so I know its just a matter of time before one of the model companies come out with a 1/24 or 1/25 kit of this car. Just the thought that there will be a model of this car is amazing I don't even know what I will do when I see the Aventador name and picture on a model box! Let alone seeing a real 1/1 one of these in real life I can't wait.
